JOHNNY BE GOOD

There’s a cat at home. He showed up one day from nowhere, although some say it was my neighbor’s cat, yet until now they haven’t claimed him nor admitted he is theirs. Since there is no name tag around his neck, we like to call him Johnny, originally named by my nephew, who is a huge fan of Johnny Storm - The Human Torch - a superhero character of the Fantastic Four.

Johnny the Cat actually shows a good attitude *what is he, a guest???* that he always goes to the bathroom when nature calls *whoopa!*. He similary resembles the WB’s cartoon cat, Sylvester, with his black and white furs, except Johnny is not that interested at our birds *the leading pet*

Unfortunately, I’m not into animals, so with his being following me all the time is quite irritating ! following me with food, without food, me standing and anything. He glares at me every time I’m holding an object, either it is the TV remote control or newspaper or simply food. My nephew said "Maybe Johnny likes you, titi…" Maybe he does…or maybe he is just expecting me to give him something to nibble.

The funny thing is when he is not around I ask my orang rumah where he is. Oh, my…I do miss him after all.

p.s. Since he is too shy, I am not allowed to take his picture…so just imagine Sylvester, the sassy cat of WB.
